About Me

Hello, My name is Biju Kottarakara, and I consider it an honor to hold the position of Trustee board secretary for the FOKANA, or Federation of Kerala Associations in North America. I’ve devoted my efforts to promoting the Keralite community’s interests and furthering its causes out of a passion for civic engagement and dedication to the community’s welfare. I think our community can benefit from our efforts to work together and be one.

Federation of Kerala Associations in North America (FOKANA)

The Keralite community in North America is represented by the nonprofit organization FOKANA. With chapters in numerous cities across the United States and Canada, FOKANA, founded in 1983, has expanded to become one of its biggest and most active organizations. I'm in charge of FOKANA's trustee board operations in my capacity as Secretary. I collaborate closely with the trustee board and executive committee to create and implement policies, ensure legal compliance, and keep correct records.

Community Involvement

I also participate in numerous other community organizations and projects in addition to my work with FOKANA. I firmly believe in the value of teamwork and work hard to improve the North American Keralite community. My participation in a variety of community activities enables me to address the issues and concerns of our community and try to bring about change.

Leadership and Advocacy

As a leader, I'm dedicated to protecting morality, promoting teamwork, and motivating others to give back to the neighborhood. Strong leadership abilities, in my opinion, are crucial for fostering advancement and success. The welfare and interests of the Keralite community are the main targets of my advocacy work, both inside and outside of North America. I make a point of speaking up for our town and doing everything in my power to ensure its success and prosperity going forward.
